1014 Cornwall Street
Dixon House (1910)
Arts and Crafts StyleLocal builder Harry Morgan constructed this house in 1910. It is designed in an arts and crafts style and is a good example of an early workers home on the Brow of the Hill neighbourhood. Much of the interior and exterior of the house remains true to the original design. The exterior features a front porch, wood windows and the original shingle and narrow wooden siding. Interior features include the original fir floors, wooden mouldings, door and casings as well as original light fixtures. The vestibule, living room and dining room remain in their original condition.
