Craftsman Style - Modern PeriodAnother distinctive design by Gardiner and Mercer (Samuel Bowell, contractor), this Craftsman house was originally owned by H.R. Davidson, manager of the local branch of the Bank of Commerce. Asymmetrical in form, it has a hipped roof with two front cross gables; the exterior cladding is of shingles with contrasting wood trim and half-timbering in the gables.
