Falding-Gray House (1890)
Queen Anne Style - High Victorian PeriodThe house at 431 Fourth Street was built for W.H. Falding, who was registrar of the Supreme Court of B.C. Mr. Falding sold the house in 1902 to Henry J. Cambie, a consulting engineer for the CPR. In 1907, Herbert Gilley bought the house for Minnie Kelly. In 1929, the house was bought by George Gray, a steamroller driver for the City of New Westminster. One of his brothers was A. Wells Gray, who served as B.C. premier. The Falding-Gray house was restored in the mid-1980's through the efforts of the New Westminster Heritage Preservation Society and with financial assistance from the B.C. Heritage Trust.
