435 Third Street
R.H. Cheyne House (1912)
Craftsman Style - Modern Period

The R.J. Cheyne House, named after its first owner, was designed in a traditional craftsman architectural style. There is only one other similar house in the Queen's Park Neighborhood. The exterior restoration of the house is authentic to the period and features a low pitched gable roof, full width porch with a gable marking the entry, and wood shingles. The two front upstairs windows have diamond shaped leaded glass. Interior features include original wood flooring, period hardware and light fixtures as well as stained glass.
