513 St. George Street
McPherson House (1892)
Pioneer Tent Style - High Victorian PeriodThis house, constructed in 1892, was originally owned by Mr. and Mrs. Daniel McPherson. It was built in the popular Pioneer Tent style of architecture, with a simple front gabled roof and full width porch. The exterior of the house has been stuccoed with false half timbering decorating the gable. Most of the exterior modernization has been removed, largely returning the house to its original appearance. In addition, several years ago, the house was raised and a proper foundation poured.
