Our Programs
The Samson V Maritime Museum has two curriculum specific field trip programs, which are suitable for grades 2-5 students, and beginner to advanced ESL students.

Wandering Waters - These fabulous programs are offered through the Irving House Museum and Archives, the Samson V Maritime Museum, and the Fraser River Discovery Centre. Use our kit to introduce students to many exciting concepts they can explore both on-site and in the classroom.

Meet the Crew - Samson V had a large crew compared to most modern vessel in her size range. The crew lived aboard the ship during the week, and altogether there were as many as 14 people aboard: the regular crew of 11, plus three night watchmen. Read about their duties.

Glossary of Terms for Teachers - This is a condensed version of our glossary; the full version can be found here.

We've also created a couple of word search activities.

You need the latest version of Acrobat Reader to read our PDF files.
