Please check Samson V Maritime Museum Official Website for information on exhibitions, contact, location and hours. Samson V is a wooden, steam-powered, sternwheel snagpuller now open as a Maritime Museum. She is sole survivor of the once numerous Fraser River paddlewheelers. Onboard, you're welcome to tour the galley, mess, cabins and engine area, all restored (or nearly restored) to their original condition. From the Museum's tour guides, the photograph display panels, and the interpretive brochures, you'll get a sense of what life was like on a working riverboat, as well as learn about the Fraser River, early riverboat Captains, and other river trivia. The Royal Agricultural and Industrial Society of BC Learn about one of British Columbia's oldest societies.
