Become a Volunteer

Want to be a member of our crew?
At the Samson V Maritime Museum, we have many opportunities for volunteers, either as tour guides or as part of the maintenance crew.

Why?
Volunteering is a great way to gain experience, make new friends, and contribute to your community.

As a volunteer, you will receive:

* General orientation and training
* Specific and ongoing training
* Self-study and educational opportunities
* Flexible schedules
* Record of time contributions
* Ongoing feedback from supervisor
* Annual evaluation

Your specific training depends on your service assignment. Some tasks call for extensive reading and instruction; others are quite straightforward and need only a short demonstration.

How?
Call Valerie Francis at 604.522.6894 for more information on becoming a Samson V volunteer.
