Information: At left is a sign that reads "Supply". It may be part of a sign for the Public Safety Stores. This store is listed in the B.C. directories in the years - 1908, 1909, 1912-1914. Photograph taken near Mackenzie on Columbia Street. The car is a 1913 Peerless and it is parked in front of W. S. Collister's store.

Information: George Odin chauffeuring a client. His customer might be Mr. Collister since Odin's obituary notice mentions that he acted as chauffeur to the Collister family on a trip to California and Florida. Odin drove the 1st May Day car in 1919. He drove the 1st automobile in New Westminster and the 1st wrecking truck in the Lower Mainland. Passenger in back seat is Mr. W. S. Collister. The car is parked outside the William Johnston house at 212 Queen's Avenue. The car is a 1913 Peerless. Queen's Avenue was not paved until 1915 (it is unpaved here). So the photo was taken between 1913 and 1915.
